Primary

F-2: An Interactive Farm Tour & A Hands-On ‘Helping Wildlife on the Farm’ Workshop

Learning Intentions

  • To explore farming practices that contribute to rebuilding our ecosystems and increasing biodiversity. 

  • To foster care and connection to land, food and our community.

  • To understand the importance of native plants & animals, and their connection to farming.  

3-6: An Interactive Farm Tour & A Hands-On ‘Helping Wildlife on the Farm’ Workshop

Secondary

7-10: An Interactive Farm Tour & A Hands-On ‘Understanding and Creating Habitat’ Workshop

Learning Intentions

  • To explore farming practices that contribute to rebuilding our ecosystems and increasing biodiversity.  

  • To foster care and connection to land, food and our community.

  • To understand the importance of biodiversity in food production, and the role of humans in the ecosystem.  

11-12: An Interactive Farm Tour & A Hands-On ‘Understanding and Creating Habitat’ Workshop

Learning Intentions

  • To explore farming practices that contribute to rebuilding our ecosystems and increasing biodiversity.  

  • To foster care and connection to land, food and our community.

  • To understand the importance of biodiversity in food production & human communities, and the role of humans in the ecosystem .  

Note: Programs vary depending on year level, number of students and can be adapted to suit your specific needs or curriculum requirements of the excursion.

Program Details

Duration: 3 hours
Cost: $400 per group + GST
Max 25 students per group
Capacity - 3 Groups per day (75 students total)
