Our Story

Common Ground Project is a regenerative farm and social enterprise that promotes food security by creating fair access to locally grown, healthy food.

We exist to empower agency and advocacy by offering an inclusive space for growing, cooking, knowledge sharing, and ongoing community collaboration. We provide hands-on workshops, training and employment pathways through our Food Knowledge programs, which directly support our Food Relief efforts in the Geelong region.

Grounded in regenerative farming, and in recognition of the urgent need for a more resilient food system, we believe that connection to land, food and community can drive real, meaningful social change.

See below a little snapshot of our story so far…

We aim to create a work culture and education environment that reflects the diversity of our regenerative farm.

We believe everyone has the right to feel safe, respected and celebrated for who they are.

We celebrate the gifts people from our community offer to our organisation and to food in the region. We welcome people who identify as First Nations, LGBTQIAS&B+, neurodivergent, people of all abilities and from culturally and ethnically diverse backgrounds.

Everyone is welcome. Everyone belongs.

Follow our journey.
