Crispy kale chips are a delicious and nutritious snack that combines the satisfying crunch of a chip with the wholesome benefits of leafy greens. Baked to perfection, these chips are lightly seasoned to enhance their natural flavour. Packed with vitamins and antioxidants, crispy kale chips are a delicious way to satisfy cravings for something savoury.

Ingredients:

  • 300g Kale Leaves

  • 1 tsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp Cumin

  • 1 tsp Paprika

  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

  • Flakey Sea Salt

Methods:

  1. Prep Kale Leaves by removing the woody stem with a knife so you are left with just the soft leaf

  2. Roughly hop into strips or squares 5cm long

  3. In a large bowl toss the leaves in with the olive oil, Cumin, Paprika and Garlic

  4. Place on a large baking tray, evenly spread so they have room to dehydrate evenly

  5. Place in the oven at 150 degrees for roughly 20-30 mins or until the edges start to go dark brown.... make sure you carefully keep an eye on them as they can quickly burn when they get to this stage

  6. Take out of the oven and sprinkle with salt on top
