Clean Earth Essentials Detergent Bar: made using recycled oil!

A$10.00

Locally made using recycled oil from cafes and restaurants, this detergent bar (approx. 110g; or 1L of liquid soap) closes the loop in household waste. Used oil from cafes and restaurants is filtered, cleaned and then mixed with other minimal ingredients, making a solid bar that you can use in the kitchen, laundry, or any other space that else needs cleaning.

Instructions: use the detergent bar for dishes or as a laundry detergent. For dishes, simply scrub the bar into a dish cloth/scrubber to lather on the product, then use the cloth/scrubber to wash your dishes. For laundry, use a grater to shave the entire bar into small pieces, place the grated soap in a bowl with 15g bicarb soda and 1L of boiled water, then stir until combined. Once completely cooled, store in a bottle or jar and use the liquid detergent as you would any other in your washing machine.

Clean Earth Essentials, a small local business based in Geelong, was born out of a desire to reduce the toxins found in our daily lives and surrounding environment. By purchasing this product, you are helping support a small, local business in creating more sustainable household products. Clean Earth Essentials also do DIY soap workshops across the region; check out their socials for more deets!
